M88DR4RCD02P is a 32-bit 1:2 configurable Registering Clock Driver (RCD) for DDR4 RDIMM and LRDIMM applications. The RCD is compliant with JEDEC DDR4RCD02 specification and can support speed up to DDR4-3200. An RCD can be used independently as a central buffer on an RDIMM or used in conjunction with nine DDR4 Data Buffers on an LRDIMM to provide the memory system with higher capacity, higher speed and lower power consumption than capable on an standard RDIMM device. In addition, M88DR4RCD02P has an optional NVDIMM (Non-Volatile Dual In-line Memory Module) support feature, which provides a new level of functionality to the computer memory hierarchy and allows the high-end data center servers to utilize persistent memory at DRAM speeds.
